Q. What is TenonCam?
A. TenonCam is a complete cabinet manufacturing system for Cabinet Vision and other popular software packages, that includes catalogs full of cabinets and accessories.  It requires virtually no user setup and is easy to use.  The system includes the TenonCam software that works with unique patented router bits.

Q. If I use TenonCam, will I be able to install updates to my design software?
A. Yes, however, we strongly suggest that you do not install an update until TenonCam has verified compatibility with your system.

Q. Will TenonCam be updated to remain compatible with my design software?
A. Yes, every effort will be made to insure that TenonCam works with the latest version of your design software.

Q. Who supports TenonCam?
A. TenonCam Support, Training and Custom Programming is provided by our technicians.  Please visit our support page for more information.

Q. What does “Turn-Key” mean?
A. Once installed, TenonCam is complete and requires no further configuration. In other words, you are ready to run a job, confident that all Cabinet, Drawer Box, Toe Board and Door parts will be correct.

Q. What if I want to change my standards to meet my needs?
A. Although TenonCam is complete “out of the box”, you still retain the ability to make changes to your standards.  For instance, you desire a different width top rail, or toe kick.  You can add new materials, create new schedules, hardware, etc.  However, until you become versed at this, it is suggested you contact TenonCam Support to assist you.

Q. What other software must I have in order to run TenonCam?
A. TenonCam integrates with the Cabinet Vision Screen-to-Machine software package. Currently, TenonCam is under development for integration with other popular software packages.

Q. Will I be able to use dovetailed or doweled drawer construction or must I use the TenonCam mortise and tenon drawer construction?
A. You can use any drawer construction you choose.  However, the TenonCam mortise and tenon construction is the most viable method for nested based manufacturing.

Q. Once TenonCam is installed, how soon can I start a job?
A. As soon as you sit down at the computer. TenonCam training can usually be accomplished in 4 to 8 hours.
